sizing & pricing
we have a wide variety of sample gowns from our amazing lineup of designers ranging from bridal sizes 8-16!
Generally, we recommend buying a gown that is anywhere between 1-3 sizes larger than the size you wear in normal clothing (aka street size). Alterations are a game changer and are necessary for any bridal gown, whether you're purchasing a designer sample gown or ordering a dress in your exact bridal size. Most gowns can be altered down 2-3 sizes while still keeping the integrity of the gown!
our sample gowns are priced from $1,000-$2,300!
your sample sale appointment
after your appointment is booked, we will email you with a link to our sample inventory (including sizes & photos) for you to look over & select up to 6 gowns (+ some back-ups in case any of your faves sell prior to your appointment) that you’d like to try on during your appointment.
appointments are 1 hour max and smaller groups are encouraged. Our boutique can only seat 7-8 guests comfortably, but for sample sale appointments, groups of 1-4 work best!
purchases
ALL SAMPLE GOWNS ARE TO BE PURCHASED IN AS-IS CONDITION & ARE PRICED ACCORDINGLY. common imperfections are makeup staining, missing button(s), or worn trains. in addition to altering, dry cleaning is highly recommended prior to wear.
full payment is required before taking your dress home & unfortunately, there will be no holds. we accept cash, check, or credit card (but there is a credit card processing fee for all credit card transactions.)
do i need to bring anything to my appointment?
No, But we do have a few recommendations for a more seamless try-on experience:
while many brides try on our gowns barefoot or in socks, you are more than welcome to bring a pair of heels with you especially if you plan to wear heels on your wedding day.
nude undergarments work best while trying on weddings gowns in order to blend in with your skin & not detract from the white/ivory of the gown.
Often times it is easiest to go bra-less while trying on wedding gowns, but you are more than welcome to leave your bra on! Another option is opting to wear nipples covers or a “sticky” bra.
will i need alterations & are they offered in-house?
Brides will almost always need alterations in order for your wedding gown to fit your body like a glove. We do not offer in-store alterations, however we will provide recommendations for great, local seamstresses.
